The place
On the Waterfall Route, in Urubici
Serenus House sits 1,425 m above sea level, 13 km from downtown Urubici, on the Waterfall Route. There are only two cabins, each tucked into its own corner of the forest, among araucarias and century-old tree ferns.
On many mornings the valley wakes up under a sea of clouds. In the garden and by the lake, four sculptures, by Bruno Giorgi, Sonia Ebling, Vera Torres and Vânia Braga, share space with the forest. At night it's the fireplace and a mountain sky.

Cabana Cristal is a 52 m² glass cabin suspended in the forest, with a heated floor and a soaking tub with jets. Cabana dos Pumas is a 70 m² A-frame with a lanai, a bathtub, 4 m hand-carved panels and a deck in the woods.
